2022.1.21 (Updated 2022/1/30)

「A request from Saga Prefecture: If you can determine that you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you are asked to stay at home, even without any explicit instruction from the public health center.」

Check List

・Due to the rapid increase in the number of people infected with COVID-19, identifying and testing close contacts for infection by public health centers will now be limited to (1) family members of infected people, (2) people who are at risk of serious illness, such as the elderly and people with underlying medical conditions, and (3) day-care facilities and schools.

・If you are an acquaintance or colleague of an infected person, you must use the checklist to determine whether you have been in close contact or not, on your own account, even without any explicit instruction from the public health center.

※The checklist will be published on the website of the prefectural government at a later date. We will make an announcement here once it is published.

・If you have determined that you have come into close contact with an infected person, you must confine yourself to home quarantine for 7 days. Please discuss this with your family and workplace.

If you develop symptoms such as a fever during home quarantine, please call your family doctor for advice.
