With the slogan “Free Your Heart of Borders” we at SPIRA work every day to build a multicultural and inclusive community. This book shares our journey, including our Chairperson’s “Caribbean Dream.”

The stories in this book—full of our efforts, challenges, and joys—are written by the staff themselves.

We hope our experiences can be helpful to people in Saga and to others working toward multicultural coexistence.

This book (not for sale) has been sent to our supporting members, local municipalities, public libraries in Saga, and the Saga Prefecture International Plaza, where you can read it. If you would like a copy, please feel free to contact us.
