Message from the Governor (2021.7.29)

The number of people infected with COVID-19 is rapidly increasing.

The rate of infection is particularly increasing among the younger generation, and roughly 70 percent of cases find their origin in travel from and to Fukuoka Prefecture.

Please refrain from non-essential travel to Fukuoka Prefecture, Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa, as well as eating in groups in those regions.

(Please be cautious when making decisions about whether travel is absolutely necessary or not)

In your daily life, please make sure to practice basic preventative measures, such as washing your hands regularly, wearing a mask, ventilating your house and workplace, and avoiding the three C’s (Crowded places, Close-contact settings, Closed spaces).
