Apply for the 2019 SAGA International Festa Photo Contest!
SPIRA has organized a photo contest to inform people of an increase in the nonnative population and to investigate what it is like to live with a wide range of people from around the world by taking a picture of the current internationalization in SAGA prefecture.
So, we are asking you to send us photographs that you have taken in the prefecture and take part in the contest. Anyone may participate, regardless of their age, nationality, or gender. We are looking forward to seeing your special picture!

Please take a picture of a multicultural society or international exchange that reflects what you are currently contemplating.
<How to Apply>
① Please take a picture at the venue of SAGA International Festa in IMARI city (Date: October 6th (Sun) 11: 00-16: 00 Venue: IMARI City Library) and come to the SPIRA booth. Then, develop the photograph on the spot, write a comment, and post it on the exhibition panel.
(* NOTE * Only those with Wi-Fi compatible smartphones and digital cameras may apply here.)
② In addition to the main events on October 6th, you may also submit photographs that you have taken of other monthly events, prefecture events, or daily life. Send these submissions to us by email: info@spira.or.jp. Please include the following in the email: 1. name, 2. age, 3. city, 4. telephone number, 5. comment on the photo.
[Caution] Make sure to obtain permission from the person(s)in the picture before applying.
③ The winners will be evaluated by a panel of judges. It will include all of the photo submissions from ① and ②.
④ Photo exhibitions will be held at the SAGA International Festa main event venue on October 6th and commercial facilities in the prefecture later.
<Prize>
Winners will receive a certificate and prize.

[Silver Award] 1 work Winner receives a certificate and QUO card of 5,000 yen
[Bronze award] 1 work Winner receives a certificate and QUO card of 3,000 yen
[Special Award] 1 work SPIRA’s novelty prize
Once you submit the photograph(s), we have permission to use them on our website and Facebook page based on our discretion.
